If you have a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP or psychiatrist you can claim a rebate of $92.90 per session, up to ten sessions per calendar year. The Clinical Social Worker Medicare rebate is $81.90. No Medicare rebate is available for Counsellor or Child Play Therapy sessions. Most private health funds pay a rebate for psychology fees under their extras. Health rebates vary depending on your fund and level of cover so please check with your fund for details.
We have a 24-hour notice cancellation policy for the purpose of allowing othersto fill that space. We understand occasional personal emergencies and personaltime schedules, but please notify us in advance. Failure to provide notice ofcancellation will incur a charge of the full fee of your consultation.
